Hello and welcome. I’m Natalie, the founder of Village Green Gatherings.
This little community was born during a big life shift. After a breast cancer diagnosis led me to close my shop, Village Green, I realised how much I missed those everyday conversations, the sense of purpose that comes from organising makers markets, and the warm feeling of being part of a community.
It turns out I wasn’t alone. So many of the people I spoke to were also quietly craving real connection, the kind that comes from slowing down, spending time together, and finding joy in simple things.
Village Green Gatherings grew from a desire to do just that: to slow down, reconnect, and share the simple joy of learning, exploring, and being together.

What it's all about
Based here in beautiful East Lothian, Village Green Gatherings is a friendly, welcoming community for like-minded folk to:
- Explore new ideas and places
- Learn through creative workshops and local wisdom
- Connect at coffee mornings, seasonal events, guided walks, and more
It’s also a celebration of local people and small businesses: the stories, skills, and hidden gems that make this place so special.
How it works
Following our very successful trial phase, we’re now ready to grow into a membership based community. Village Green Gatherings has three memberships available: Core Membership, Business Membership and Lite.
To attend any of the events on the curated calendar of offerings, you will need to be either a Core or Business Member. If there are spaces available nearer to the time of the event, these will be offered to the Lite members at a slightly higher cost to cover the extra admin fees.
The Core and Business Membership offers:
Access to Exclusive Events created especially for Village Green Gatherings. There is always one free event each month and others have fees to cover facilitator, materials and hire of space.

Small Business Monthly Meet Up (Business Membership only)
Some events on the calendar are free, others have fees to cover costs but each month there is a mix of experiences on offer at different price points to suit all.
